WATER SAFETY |
Summer is here and with it comes the fun of outdoor activities. When most of us are enjoying time at the pool or beach, injuries aren’t the first thing on our minds. Yet, drownings are the leading cause of injury and death for young children ages 1 to 4, and three children die every day as a result of drowning. WILDFIRE PREPAREDNESS
Wildfire: Are You Ready?
Beautiful scenery has long been a source of pride for Rancho Santa Fe, Fairbanks Ranch, and the surrounding communities. Unfortunately, some of this vegetation has gone from being decorative to becoming a potential fire hazard. In an effort to protect lives and property, the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District is launching it's annual campaign to remind property owners to clear away or thin vegetation from around their homes and on their land. Every property owner will receive a letter that states the importance of compliance with the fire code as it pertains to vegetation management along with a check list designed to help them meet the requirements. For more information, please refer to the links below or contact the RSFFPD.
