Station No. 1 was originally built in 1949 and was renovated 50-years later in August of 1999. Station One serves as Headquarters for all Fire Protection District operations, including the district's administrative offices and fire prevention bureau.

The fire companies assigned here respond to emergencies in Rancho Santa Fe, Sun Valley, the Bridges, Rancho La Cima, Rancho Del Lago, Groves, Stonebridge, South Pointe Farms, and other surrounding communities.

Administrative Office - 16936 El Fuego, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067
The fire district's administrative office is located directly south of Station One. Office hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m; the office is closed on major holidays. The district's fire prevention bureau and the North County Dispatch Joint Powers Agency (NCDJPA) are housed in this building.

DIRECTIONS TO FIRE STATION NO. 1 (HEADQUARTERS):

From Interstate-5:

  • Exit Lomas Santa Fe, travel East
  • Continue East as Lomas Santa Fe becomes Linea Del Cielo
  • Turn LEFT onto El Fuego
  • Fire Station No. 1 is on the left hand side (16936 El Fuego)
From Interstate-15:
  • Exit Valley Parkway, travel West
  • Continue West on Valley Parkway, which will become the 2-lane Del Dios Highway, and eventually, Paseo Delicias.
  • Paseo Delicias will end at a fork (5-way stop); continue straight through the stop sign, bear RIGHT onto Linea Del Cielo.
  • Turn RIGHT onto El Fuego
  • Fire Station No. 1 is on the left hand side (16936 El Fuego)
